How many cards are in an MLP TCG deck?

The Main Deck is exactly 50 cards with up to 4 copies of any card number, plus exactly 1 Main Character, a 4-stage Story Deck (stages I–IV) from one story set, and a Scene Deck.

If all the slots in the Adventure Area are full, can I place a new Character?

Accepted Answer

No. Once a Character is placed you cannot move it or place another Character on top of it until the Character in that slot moves to the Rest Zone.

What is [Adventure][Tap]?

Accepted Answer

[Adventure] is an ability that can be used while the card is in the Adventure Area. [Tap] means changing a card from upright (ready) to horizontal (rested). So [Adventure][Tap] means tapping a Character while it is in the Adventure Area to activate its ability. A tapped Character must Contact during the Exchange Phase.

When a Plan card is removed, where does it go, and does its Pre-Plan ability still trigger?

Accepted Answer

A Plan card removed by an ability is sent to the Rest Zone. If it has a [Pre-Plan] ability, you must resolve that ability.

Question 6

If a character that already advanced the Story moves to an adjacent empty slot, can it perform another Contact or Advance Story?

Accepted Answer

It depends. If there is an opponent's character opposite the slot your character moved to, perform the contact as normal. If there is no opponent's character in that slot, the Exchange Phase for that slot is skipped and there is no Advance Story. A character moving back to a previous slot also skips the Exchange Phase.
